Information for Reviewers
Peer review is the cornerstone of academic publishing. We deeply value the time, effort, and expertise our reviewers contribute to maintaining the high quality of JSMR.
Role of Reviewers
Reviewers evaluate article submissions to the journal based on the requirements of that journal, predefined criteria, and the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the research presented. Reviewers provide feedback on the paper, suggest improvements, and make a recommendation to the editor about whether to accept, reject, or request changes to the article.
Review Criteria
- Originality and significance of the work
- Methodological rigor and scientific soundness
- Clarity of writing and organization
- Appropriateness of references
- Adherence to ethical standards
Confidentiality
Manuscripts under review are highly confidential documents. Reviewers must not disclose any information about the manuscript to anyone outside of the review process. Double-blind review protocols must be maintained.
Timeline
We request reviewers to respond to review invitations within 3-5 days. If accepted, the standard review time is 2-4 weeks. If you require more time, please inform the editorial office promptly.
Ethics
Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest. Reviews should be conducted objectively, and personal criticism of the author is inappropriate.
